Swiatek overcomes Navarro to reach the Australian Open semi-finals

Who will stop Iga Swiatek? The Pole seems to be on a mission in this first Grand Slam of the season.
Challenged by Emma Navarro for a place in the semi-finals, the current world No.2 was once again quick off the mark to defeat the American (6-1, 6-2 in 1h29).
After dropping seven games in her first round match against Siniakova, Swiatek lost just seven games in her last four matches against Sramkova, Raducanu, Lys and now Navarro.
She has reached the last four in Melbourne for the second time in her career after 2022.
In the semi-finals, Swiatek will face another American player, Madison Keys.
The winner of the Adelaide tournament in recent days found the solution to topple Elina Svitolina (3-6, 6-3, 6-4) and will play for a second Major final after the 2017 US Open.
Swiatek leads 4-1 in head-to-head meetings so far.
