While a harasser was present at Iga Swiatek's practice session in Miami to verbally attack her, the Polish player's team felt compelled to respond.
"We reported the issue to the tournament organizers and the WTA, who immediately took action and implemented additional precautions, such as increased security.
Constructive criticism is one thing, but threats, hate speech, or simply disrupting a practice session is another—something we cannot turn a blind eye to."
