"The beginning of the week was very difficult. On the first day, I didn't feel very well on the court. Match after match, I felt better and better. Today was certainly my best match of the competition.
I felt super good, and I think that was the key to beating Pegula because she is a very strong player. I am very happy with this performance. We are proud of ourselves, of our team. It's a big day for Italy.
