"The players felt very comfortable," Ferrer analyzes the playing conditions for the Final 8 in Bologna
David Ferrer, captain of the Spanish Davis Cup team, shared his thoughts on the playing conditions in Bologna, the venue for the Davis Cup Final 8.
He stated, in comments reported by Punto de Break: "We trained very well. I saw them as very motivated and enthusiastic, in an excellent atmosphere. The team will therefore be decided on Tuesday or Wednesday.
In the end, it's like a tournament: the players first need to acclimatize, then play sets back-to-back to be ready just in case. It's a very pleasant court. It's not excessively fast, even though it's an indoor court, but I think the players felt very comfortable on it."
Spain is still waiting for Carlos Alcaraz, who is competing at the ATP Finals where he will face Jannik Sinner this Sunday. They will face the Czech Republic this Thursday, November 20th.
