The Rome Masters 1000 Adds Three New Courts to Its Complex
Considered one of the most prestigious and important Masters 1000 tournaments of the season, the Rome tournament will expand its facilities for the 2025 edition, which will be held from May 7 to 18.
Indeed, the Italian Tennis Federation continues to invest in the event by adding three new courts this year, bringing the total number of courts to 20 throughout the Foro Italico.
One of these new courts, named SuperTennis Arena (after the channel that broadcasts tennis matches in Italy), will have a capacity of 6,500 seats. It will thus be the second-largest court of the tournament after the central court, surpassing the capacities of the Grandstand and the famous Pietrangeli court.
This construction of three new courts will accommodate the growing influx of fans coming to watch the tournament.
