Alexander Zverev is having a season far from expectations, even though he started 2025 with high ambitions and lived up to his status by reaching the Australian Open final, among other achievements.
The German's lack of results has relegated him far behind Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner in the ATP rankings, placing him 3rd in the world with a 4,850-point deficit from 2nd place.
This is a significant gap, similar to the one Zverev has with Miomir Kecmanovic, currently ranked 47th in the ATP, as explained by Jeu, Set et Maths on X.
Further proof that Alcaraz and Sinner, who have been sharing Grand Slam titles since 2024, have established themselves as a true Big 2 this year.
