The truth is, they don't give us much promotion compared to singles," Errani and Paolini discuss the lack of exposure for doubles

The duo of Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini had a standout season on clay, as after winning in Rome, they also claimed the trophy at Roland-Garros. A longtime doubles enthusiast, Errani had already won the title back in 2012. Speaking to *Punto de Break*, the two players reflected on the lack of visibility for the discipline:
**S.E:** "I think people enjoy doubles, they love coming to watch us. Maybe they could get to know the players a little better, but the truth is, they don’t give us much promotion compared to singles, where everyone knows them, their lives, and their stories.
I also believe doubles players have great careers and deserve recognition. I think if people knew them better, they’d enjoy watching them even more. Anyone who follows doubles and mixed doubles knows it’s very entertaining."
**J.P:** "There are a lot of differences—just ask people who the top ten singles players are and who the top ten doubles pairs are, and you’ll see the contrast. I agree with Sara that maybe there should be more awareness about who’s playing, because in Italy, for example, whenever we play, it’s packed because people know us.
In the U.S., doubles is very popular, which is why so many American players take part—it’s a good thing. If I’m playing doubles now, it’s because I understand the discipline better and I love it.
