There hasn’t been much time to prepare, but the more matches we win, the better," says Samuel Lopez, Alcaraz’s co-coach, on the sidelines of the Queen’s tournament.

Carlos Alcaraz will make his debut at Queen’s tomorrow against Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, just nine days after winning Roland-Garros.
The world No. 2 arrived at the London tournament site on Saturday and took time to adjust to the grass after two months of intense competition on clay. Speaking to the media outlet EFE, his co-coach Samuel Lopez commented on this short preparation period:
"We haven’t had a lot of time, but there’s desire and enthusiasm. He loves playing on grass. He’s coming in with positive energy after his victory at Roland-Garros.
We know adapting to grass takes time, but Carlos has good memories from last year. There hasn’t been much time to prepare, but the more matches we win, the better.
