"They will all eventually get there": Medvedev's prediction on Sinner and Alcaraz
Daniil Medvedev is coming out of an offseason that allowed him to breathe: reconnecting with his family, disconnecting, and recharging mentally.
"Yes, it's always nice to spend time with family, because during the season, those moments are rare. We rested and I've already started working again.
The focus is on physical preparation but we will also dedicate time to tennis," says the former world No. 1.
Sinner, Alcaraz and Swiatek: who will achieve the Career Grand Slam?
When asked about the challenge of the "Career Grand Slam (winning the four Grand Slams discontinuously)" for Sinner, Alcaraz, and Swiatek, the Russian didn't hesitate for a second.
"Yes, of course, they can. They all play very well, they can win any tournament.
Sinner had three match points to win Roland-Garros 2025, so anyone can do it. But they will succeed or not, and that's precisely the beauty of tennis.
They are all young, they will have many opportunities to succeed, but life is sometimes unpredictable. If, on the other hand, we're talking about what I think, I believe they will all, sooner or later, achieve the Career Grand Slam."
While Medvedev remains diplomatic, his statement reignites a duel that fascinates the tennis world between Alcaraz and Sinner:
