Things are getting complicated for Hurkacz!
The news isn't good for Hubert Hurkacz.
The Pole, who was forced to retire against Arthur Fils at Wimbledon, appears to be seriously injured.
Forced to pull out of the Olympic Games, Hurkacz recently spoke out about his physical state and, according to the man himself, we may not see him back on the courts for some time to come.
In a statement relayed by the Tennis Letter account, the current world number 7 said: "We fought hard to get to the Olympics, but it didn't work out. I couldn't play in Paris, it would have been dangerous.
Right after my injury, I spoke to doctors and eight out of ten told me that, in reality, I could only play in Australia (January 2025)."
