Emma Raducanu will be in the main draw of the WTA 1000 Dubai, which gets underway on Sunday.

The Briton, ranked 60th in the world, has received a wild-card from the organizers, her third in a row since the start of the Middle East tour (Abu Dhabi then Doha) and 13th in 18 tournaments played.

The invitation caused controversy, as several higher-ranked players, such as Ashlyn Krueger, ranked 40th in the world and a recent finalist in Abu Dhabi, had to pass through the tournament's qualifying rounds.

It remains to be seen whether Raducanu will take advantage of this new opportunity, as she is currently on a run of four straight defeats, including three in the first round of a tournament.

Despite top-10 ATP rankings and consistent excellence, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Gaël Monfils, Richard Gasquet, and Gilles Simon never claimed a Grand Slam title, enduring mockery from French media amid Big 3 dominance. A deep dive into a talented generation defined by sky-high expectations and brutal competition.

Carlos Alcaraz has the New younger person to win the Australian Open and I hope he will regain French open 2026 also. As per my Guess he will be the best player to achieve the 20 Grand Slams in Younger age Only. I hope all the best to Carlos.

As much as I love watching Alcaraz at his best, I'd love to see Alex taking this, he's such a tryer, and getting married and his humour and humility...
