Tiafoe again in conflict with a referee: "In ten years on the circuit, this has never happened to me"
Winner of his 2nd round match in Vienna against Cameron Norrie (6-4, 7-6), Frances Tiafoe didn't exactly celebrate his victory.
After winning the first set, during which he received a warning for going over time, the American began to provoke the chair umpire.
A rather implausible sequence, which he justified in his post-match interview: "We're playing for our lives on the court. Playing four matches with a time-out warning each time is insane. In ten years on the circuit, that's never happened to me.
It's something that needs to be discussed because there's a loss of points, money and fines that follow because of the reactions."
