Tsitsipas: "A kind of burn-out".
Stefanos Tsistipas is in crisis.
Plunged into a series of rather negative results, the Greek disappointed even more at the US Open.
Beaten by Kokkinakis in the first round, Tsitsipas appeared much reduced in his press conference, visibly affected by the defeat.
With his head down, he declared: "I really don't know.
I'm not an expert, I'm not a psychologist or a psychiatrist, but I've already had these discussions with certain people I've spoken to, and I have the impression that I've had some sort of long-term burn-out.
I've been feeling it since the beginning of the year.
I feel like it's a type of burn-out that's already happened and it's not going to repair or regenerate just because you take a vacation or stay away from the courts.
I feel like it's something that has continued, whether I'm out of tennis or not."
