Tsitsipas Leads the Charge for Increased Grand Slam Revenue: "The Goal is to Unite and Secure What's Fair for Us"
Before beginning his title defense in Monte-Carlo, Stefanos Tsitsipas spoke at a press conference this Saturday.
The Greek player was questioned about the notable letter (which he signed) sent to the Grand Slams demanding a fairer distribution of revenue to players:
"The percentage of revenue received by players is far from where it should be. I hope we can all come together to convince the tournaments to make revenue distribution as equitable as possible.
Players simply need to unite and speak with one voice on this issue. Sometimes I feel like tennis divides us. The goal is to stand together and secure what’s fair for us."
