Tsitsipas wins his first ATP 500 in Dubai!

Stefanos Tsitsipas claimed the Dubai tournament this Saturday by defeating Félix Auger-Aliassime (6-3, 6-3) in a final he controlled from start to finish.
Carried by precise and aggressive tennis, Tsitsipas, whose level of play has risen this week, frustrated Auger-Aliassime, saving all seven break points he faced on his service games.
More clinical and sharp, the Greek took control with a break at 4-3 in the first set, before making the difference at 5-3 in the second set and then serving for the match.
Without faltering, he sealed the victory on his first match point, thanks to an ace, thus breaking his curse in ATP 500 tournaments.
Indeed, he had previously lost eleven consecutive finals in tournaments of this category before today's final.
By winning the twelfth title of his career, Tsitsipas will return to the Top 10 on Monday, ranked 9th in the world. Auger-Aliassime, on the other hand, was defeated for the first time this season in a tournament final (after two titles) and will climb to 18th in the ATP rankings.
