Winning an ATP title is no easy task. With eleven months of competition a year, there are plenty of tournaments to play and win. Yet seven players in the top 30 have not won a single title, including two in the top 10.
Novak Djokovic, despite winning the Olympic Games, failed to win an ATP Tour title in 2024. Daniil Medvedev, meanwhile, ended a six-year run with at least one title, despite two finals.
Lorenzo Musetti, ranked 17th in the world, ends his year without a single title, despite three ATP finals. These statistics show that the competition is growing, and that it's becoming more difficult to find a place among the title winners.
The 2024 season ended with Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner sharing the majority of the major tournaments.
