Unreal scene - Auger-Aliassime wearing ski gloves at the changeover in Munich

This week's tournament in Munich is taking place in dreadful conditions. The German city has been hit by the cold snap currently sweeping Europe, with temperatures well below seasonal norms.

As a result, conditions are far from ideal for playing tennis on the Bavarian clay courts. It was 4°C late Friday afternoon during the quarter-final between Felix Auger-Aliassime and Jan-Lenard Struff. The Canadian adapted to the situation, which led to an unreal scene at the changeover: he donned ski gloves to try and keep his hands warm (see video below).
