The US Open organizers have unveiled the schedule for the sixth day of play.

In great form since the start of the tournament, Alcaraz will kick off the action on Arthur Ashe Stadium against Italy's Darderi (starting at 5:30 PM French time), followed by last year's finalist Pegula. The local favorite will face former world number one Azarenka.

Next, the Grand Slam record holder Djokovic will take the court. A four-time champion here, the Serbian will be challenged by Britain's Norrie (not before 1:00 AM French time). Finally, young Andreeva will close out the day against Townsend, who defeated Ostapenko in a controversial match.

On Louis Armstrong Stadium, spectators will witness from the start the clash between Rybakina and Raducanu (starting at 5:00 PM French time). Shelton will follow against France's Mannarino, succeeded by defending champion Sabalenka, who will face the 2021 finalist Fernandez (starting at 1:00 AM French time). Finally, Fritz will wrap things up against qualifier Kym.

On the other courts, Paolini will challenge Vondrousova, and the crowd favorite Tiafoe will face Germany's Struff (Grandstand). Navarro, meanwhile, will need to confirm her seeding status (10) against Krejcikova (Grandstand).

On the French side, the all-French showdown between Bonzi and Rinderknech will take place starting at 5:00 PM (Court 17). Meanwhile, Blanchet, who has had a heroic run, will play the 21st seed Machac (in the last rotation, Court 17).

As we move to the end of this month and also closing out the year I am wishing all of those following me a Merry Christmas and a Happy/Healthy New Year.

Let's make that wish for all 2000 plus players hoping for 5 wins each day. Hoping ŵhen we open the results page to see all green, and no red. And especially NO CANCELED matches.

From me and my rotti JAZ, I bid you all good night, and see you in...

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.

The finals are here, and we scramble for the best finish. I've been chasing "King" all year and I was able to shrink the spread a little. Skelp is also closing the gap.

Seasons best to all the regulars in our league.

Will you all be back in the new year.?

Steffi Graf completed a Golden Slam (not just a career Grand Slam) when she was 19. She is the only person to accomplish that, winning the four majors plus Olympic gold the same calendar year.
