US Open Reveals Attendance for Two Days of Mixed Doubles Competition
The US Open mixed doubles, held on Tuesday and Wednesday, saw the pair of Andrea Vavassori and Sara Errani win for the second consecutive year.
However, this was the first edition of the event in a revamped format. After these two days of competition, which divided opinions, the organizers revealed the attendance, with 78,000 fans present at the Flushing Meadows site.
Arthur Ashe Stadium was sold out, as was Louis Armstrong Stadium. However, it should be noted that access to this court was free during Tuesday's day session, as specified by Tennis Updates on X.
