Alcaraz and Swiatek both triumphed in the finals in Cincinnati. The Spaniard benefited from an unfortunate withdrawal by Sinner (5-0, ret.), while the Polish player secured a solid victory against Paolini (7-5, 6-4).
Though they have already won the same tournament at the same time (US Open 2022), the two champions won’t have much time to celebrate as they must immediately shift focus to the US Open mixed doubles this Tuesday.

Indeed, one is paired with Raducanu and the other with Ruud. It’s a very tight schedule, but Swiatek and Alcaraz will manage thanks to a private jet arranged by the Cincinnati tournament organizers.
