Alcaraz faced Bosnia's Džumhur in the third round of Roland-Garros.
While the first two sets logically went in favor of the world No. 2, Džumhur caused a surprise by taking the third set. A situation that has become frequent for the young Spaniard, confirming his lapses in concentration. The player had already dropped a set in his previous match against Marozsán.
After losing the third set, the defending champion expressed his frustration with an angry gesture at 2-1, 15-15, during Džumhur’s service game.
However, this did not stop Alcaraz from securing victory in four sets (6-1, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4) and advancing to the round of 16, where he will face American Shelton.
