Video - Bergs Starts Reading His Notebook During a Medical Timeout
The Miami Masters 1000 has been offering some surprising scenes since the start of the tournament.
After Francisco Comesana's cigarette break during the qualifiers, it was Zizou Bergs' turn to catch the cameras' attention this Thursday during his first-round match against Nuno Borges.
While he had requested a medical timeout at 5-2 in the second set, the Belgian made himself comfortable on his bench to read his notebook, all while receiving treatment for his right foot.
This reading break proved beneficial for Bergs, as he went on to win the next five games to advance past the first round (7-6, 7-5) in Miami.
