Video - Break Point Brilliantly Saved by Rune Against Tsitsipas at Indian Wells

Holger Rune has qualified for his 9th Masters 1000 quarterfinal. After winning at Paris-Bercy in 2022, the 21-year-old Dane eliminated two French players, Corentin Moutet and Ugo Humbert, to earn the right to face Stefanos Tsitsipas for a spot in the Final 8 at Indian Wells.
After a serious and well-executed match, Rune managed to defeat the Greek player (6-4, 6-4). During the match, the crowd erupted when Tsitsipas secured two break points to level the score at 4-4 in the second set.
However, Rune refused to give in. On the first break point he had to save at 15-40, the Dane executed a tweener lob that caught Tsitsipas off guard, as the Greek thought he had done the hard part on the point. Tsitsipas attempted to return the ball but failed, leading to a standing ovation from the crowd (see video below).
Rune commented on this moment during his post-match press conference: "I kind of expected to look like Roger Federer," smiled the world No. 13, who will face Tallon Griekspoor for a place in the semifinals in California.
