Surreal images are circulating from Shanghai: Novak Djokovic, overcome with vomiting, still managed to defeat Hanfmann in the third round. A mental victory, despite the suffering.
At 38 years old, Novak Djokovic continues to push the limits.

Under very difficult playing conditions in Shanghai, the former world No. 1 came back to defeat Yannick Hanfmann after losing the first set (4-6, 7-5, 6-3). A 2-hour 41-minute battle that tested the Serbian, who was seen vomiting twice on the court.
He will enjoy a well-deserved day of rest on Monday before facing Jaume Munar on Tuesday in the round of 16.
