Video – Federer Visits the Rafa Nadal Academy
On Thursday, July 17, 2025, Federer, accompanied by his wife Mirka, visited the Rafa Nadal Academy located in Mallorca. The young residents had the chance to meet the 20-time Grand Slam champion.
This was not the first time the Swiss star had visited the complex founded by Nadal, as he was also present during its inauguration in October 2016.
For reference, the campus features numerous courts (23 hard courts, 20 clay courts), as well as padel courts (12), squash courts (2), a soccer field, and competition swimming pools (2). The academy nurtures young tennis talents not only in sports but also academically, with teachers providing education for students aged 10 to 18.
Notable players who have trained at the academy include Eala, Ruud, Munar, and Landaluce. Additionally, a Challenger 75 tournament (Rafa Nadal Open) is held annually at the academy.
