Video - In the rain of New York, Gauff works hard on her serve
Coco Gauff reshuffled her team organization this Wednesday by thanking her coaches Matt Daly and Jean-Christophe Faurel.
They have been replaced by Gavin MacMillan, a biomechanics expert who should help the world No. 3 solve the problems she is encountering with her serve. He had also worked with Aryna Sabalenka to fix her issue with double faults.
While rain has been falling since the beginning of the day in New York and is disrupting the qualifiers, Gauff decided to stay on the practice courts to apply the first advice from her new coach on her serve (see video below).
For reference, the American leads the way in double faults this season with a total of 320, while there is still one Grand Slam and the Asian tour left to play.
