Video - Lehecka's Winning Tweener Against Monfils at the Miami Masters 1000

This Friday, Jiri Lehecka and Gaël Monfils delivered an exciting battle in the second round of the Miami Masters 1000. After his victory against Fabian Marozsan, the 38-year-old Frenchman faced the Czech player, ranked 27th in the world, in a duel between confident players.
Ultimately, in this match where both players had at least one match point, it was Monfils who proved stronger and emerged victorious (6-1, 3-6, 7-6). Just before the start of the decisive third-set tiebreak, Lehecka nonetheless executed one of the most spectacular shots of this early season.
After Lehecka followed his net attack with a cross-court backhand volley, Monfils made a stunning run forward and came close to turning the point in his favor.
But the 23-year-old Czech pulled off a tweener with his back to the net, completely outplaying Monfils, who could only raise his thumb to acknowledge his opponent's brilliant shot (see video below).
A point that ultimately wasn’t enough for Lehecka, who ended up losing the match. Nevertheless, the Miami crowd was treated to a great show, and this late-match point set the tone for a nail-biting tiebreak, eventually won by Monfils 10-8 on his fourth match point.
