Video - Monte-Carlo 2018: when Nadal took his phone after his semi-final… to practice more!
Throughout his career, Rafael Nadal has shown an impressive level of commitment, as evidenced by this sequence during the Monte-Carlo Masters 1000 in 2018.
Slightly challenged during his semi-final against Grigor Dimitrov (won 6-4, 6-1), Nadal immediately picked up his phone after the match point to send a message to his coach Carlos Moya.
The reason? To ask him to book a practice court to correct some mistakes made during the match.
The next day, Nadal won his eleventh title on the Monaco clay against Kei Nishikori (6-3, 6-2).
