After his heartbreaking defeat at Roland-Garros, Sinner will return next week to Halle to defend his title. Last year’s champion, having defeated Hurkacz in the final, the world No. 1 later stumbled in the Wimbledon quarterfinals against Medvedev.
By competing in these two events, the Italian will be putting 900 points on the line.
However, many are questioning whether Sinner can bounce back after his disappointment in Paris. It’s worth remembering that he held three match points against Alcaraz but ultimately fell in the longest final in the tournament’s history (5h29).
