Video - The unmissable match point missed by Tsitsipas at Indian Wells

Stefanos Tsitsipas perfectly handled his debut on the courts of Indian Wells. The Greek, seeded number 8, defeated Thiago Seyboth Wild (6-2, 6-4) in a match where the double Grand Slam finalist was in control (24 winners, 15 unforced errors, 2 break points saved out of 2).
However, Tsitsipas experienced a strange moment at the end of the match. While he had managed to earn a match point on the Brazilian's serve, the Greek, with an open court, missed the target and allowed his opponent back into the match.
Indeed, Seyboth Wild, aggressive, followed up his net attack with a volley before slipping and falling to the ground. Tsitsipas, with a backhand, seemingly only had to place the ball into the court to win the match, but his shot did not make it over the net (see video below).
More fear than harm for the Greek, who nonetheless managed to close out the match in the same game, a few points later, and on his fourth match point. Tsitsipas will thus face Matteo Berrettini in an attempt to reach the round of 16 for the second consecutive year.
