Capable of the best and the worst, Bublik is a true artist on the court. Known for spectacular shots, the Kazakh once again stood out against Giron in 2023.

In fact, during the first round of the ATP 250 in Chengdu (China), Bublik made a net approach. This was followed by a first reflex backhand volley, then a second before concluding the point, slightly assisted by his opponent.

Nevertheless, despite some flashes of genius, the native of Gatchina (Russia) ultimately lost in two sets (7-6, 6-3) to the American. A real underperformance for him, considering his status as the No. 5 seed.

Moreover, Giron did not last long in the tournament either, as he lost in the next round to Rinderknech (7-6, 6-4).

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.
