Videos - Harris' superb shot in the United Cup
Billy Harris didn't disappoint. Ranked 125th in the world, the 29-year-old right-hander has the tough task of representing his nation in the United Cup, alongside Katie Boulter.
Opposed to Argentina in their opening match, the English team didn't want to miss out on their debut. So, after Boulter's 6-2, 6-3 win over Podoroska, Harris took to the court with the ambition of creating a stir.
Up against the rugged Tomas Martin Etcheverry (39th), he gave everything he had, even winning the first game. Unfortunately for him, it wasn't enough, and he finally succumbed after 2 hours 44 minutes (3-6, 6-3, 6-2).
Nevertheless, his performance was nothing to be ashamed of, especially in view of the crazy points he scored. One in particular showed off his excellent court coverage (see video below).
