The mood in the Italian team seems to be pretty good. A few minutes after her crushing victory over Belinda Bencic (6-1, 6-1), Jasmine Paolini was interviewed on court, and to say the least, she was all smiles!
Having just secured victory for her nation by taking home the second point (after Flavio Cobolli's win earlier), the Italian was asked a slightly comical question by Petkovic:
"- Petkovic: Flavio, I want you to stay here because I watched a tie-break in training between you two... I know who won.... Do you want to say who won?
- Paolini: I won the tie-break against Flavio!"
At the same time, Cobolli walks away and says no to the crowd!
