The World Tennis League may not be the most serious of exhibitions, but it does have its advantages. As well as attracting a number of top players, it also offers the chance to see associations that might not have been seen elsewhere.
This is particularly true of Iga Swiatek and Paula Badosa, who have discovered a shared talent for doubles. In fact, the combination of a Polish player who is firmly rooted to her line and a Spaniard who is brilliant at the net works perfectly.
