"We are a very simple family, my father wasn't here because he was working," Sinner talks about his inner circle

Defeated in the Roland-Garros final after an unforgettable match against Alcaraz, Sinner showed all his class and humility during his on-court speech. A very fair-play player, he also explained in the press conference the importance of the people around him who help him stay authentic:
"My family, the people who know me. We are a very simple family. My father wasn't here because he was at work today. Nothing changes in our family regarding our success. It was great to see my mother here. As I've always said, before starting my career, I never thought I'd be in this position.
It wasn't even a dream because I was so far from it and didn't think about it. Now I find myself here, playing the longest match in Roland-Garros history in the final. It hurts, yes, but you can't keep crying."
During the match, the Italian led 2 sets to 0 and even had three championship points in the fourth set, before ultimately losing in the super tie-break.
