When AI Impersonates Rafael Nadal: The Champion Denounces a Deceptive Scheme
Rafael Nadal has given an update on his X account, but for exceptional reasons. The Spaniard is denouncing fake AI-generated videos depicting him promoting financial investments.
He explains: "Hello everyone. I'm sharing this alert, which is unusual for me on social media, but I believe it's necessary.
My team and I have identified fake videos circulating on certain platforms, created using artificial intelligence, in which a person resembles me and speaks like me.
These videos promote investment advice or offers that do not come from me. They are part of a deceptive advertising scheme. Be careful: I have neither created nor approved any content of this kind."
