Generally, long rallies are more common in women's matches than in men's. However, this trend changed during this edition of Wimbledon.
According to the X account @AnnaK_4ever, 19 rallies exceeding 25 shots were recorded in the men's draw before the semifinals.

For the women, there were barely 5. This statistic is even more unusual for men on a fast surface like grass, where it is typically easier to finish points quickly.
