Alex De Minaur is becoming increasingly consistent on the ATP tour. The 26-year-old Australian is in the top 10 and qualified for the ATP Finals in Turin. Despite two losses in three group matches, he managed to reach the semifinals, where he was defeated by Jannik Sinner.

Having won UTS London in recent days, De Minaur hopes to win major titles and shine in Grand Slams during his career. But he knows there are many factors to consider, some of which he cannot control.

"My goal is to be happy with what I have accomplished in my career"

"Sometimes, it's never enough, right? For me, the most important thing is to use all of this as motivation to win a Grand Slam. It's obviously a big dream, but at the same time, you have to accept that some things may happen, while others won't. Ultimately, my goal is to be happy with what I have accomplished in my career, and it comes down to what I can control.

Winning a Grand Slam is something I cannot control; improving myself, having the right attitude, and putting in the necessary effort, yes. I have to congratulate myself from time to time.

It's all about small victories. I need to be more forgiving with myself. Results are decisive, but the best way to approach a match is not to give them too much importance. That allows you to play more freely.

"I want to focus more on the process and how I want to play"

This is something I've been working on for a long time, not putting too much pressure on myself, because I know that's how I play my best tennis. Instead of focusing on those results, I want to focus more on the process and how I want to play.

It's one of the biggest changes I've experienced in my mindset since Turin, I was going to be satisfied even if things didn't go my way. What I wanted was to play my way and stick to my plan, and I knew that would make me feel much better than if I didn't," he assured for Punto de Break.

Hello I'm new

1j

I am surprised about relatively low attendance at Roland Garros which was the most popular slam 20+ years ago. I myself love it as well as really loving aus and us opens. I don't care about Wimbledon, sometimes maybe I can watch women's tennis. I hate Wimbledon's white dress code, I feel like I am watching junior tennis...I watched very few matches like Graf davenport final in 1999 the last time.....

It will really be befitting if he attains his 25th Grand Slam crown at the AO for he's truly the GOAT & this will stamp him & endorse his GOAT status without an iota of doubt

Almost as important to Djokovic as Slam #25--and requiring less luck--is beating Federer's total of 103 singles titles. He'll play 250s, and might even surpass Connors's 109.
