Andrey Rublev fell to Taylor Fritz in the quarterfinals of the Toronto Masters 1000. During the post-match press conference, he discussed the match and also the playing conditions in Canada.

He stated: "I don’t have much to say. Here, the game is simple—you serve, and the person who scores more points on the return wins. With these conditions, there isn’t much tennis.

Taylor served incredibly well and returned well too. I was unlucky in the tie-break. I had three forehands to play to win the point, and I missed them all.

I propose the following changes to the rules:

1...a walķover will not be a loss. We have no control of player's health. If he or she is entered in a contest we expect them to play.

2...an incomplete match is not a loss. If a player forfeits we pick another match if there are more to choose.

3...this also applies if TT cancels a match. TT will not take hours to decide an outcome.
