WTA Rankings: Swiatek Gains 4 Spots, Gracheva Returns to the Top 100

A new week on the WTA tour has concluded, featuring tournaments in Bad Homburg and Eastbourne. These events have led to some shifts in the rankings.

Runner-up in Germany, Iga Swiatek climbs 4 spots to No. 4. After reaching the semifinals in Eastbourne as a qualifier, Varvara Gracheva rises 19 places and re-enters the Top 100, just weeks after dropping out.

The Frenchwoman is now ranked 92nd. Eastbourne champion Maya Joint continues her ascent and moves up to No. 41 in the world.

Last year’s Eastbourne finalist, Leylah Fernandez, fell in the second round of Bad Homburg this year. The Canadian drops 9 spots to No. 38.
