Le Français a breaké grâce à un superbe passing à 5/5 dans le 1er set, ce qui a fait sortir le Suédois de ses gonds. Ce dernier en a démoli sa raquette contre la chaise de l'arbitre ne laissant ainsi guère le choix au superviseur.
