Zizou Bergs and Flavio Cobolli played a titanic match yesterday lasting over three hours, marked by a 32-point tiebreak won 17-15 by the Italian.

Cobolli had to save seven match points to pull through and qualify Italy for the Davis Cup final.

The distress was total for Bergs, who saw his opponent come to comfort him at the end of the encounter. This Saturday, the Belgian player's father, Koen Bergs, wanted to pay tribute to his son's performance despite the defeat:
