Zverev criticizes the Davis Cup again: "It's sad that matches attract only 1000 people at most"
Alexander Zverev and the German Davis Cup team qualified for the semi-finals by defeating Argentina in the decisive doubles match.
Unfortunately for the spectacle, the stands were far from full. An observation also made by Zverev, who took the opportunity to once again criticize this Davis Cup format.
In a press conference, he stated: "But don't you think it's maybe a bit sad that this kind of match and the doubles attract at most a thousand people in the stadium?
If we had played in Argentina or Germany, there might have been 15,000 people. In that respect, I find it a bit sad."
