Zverev on the Davis Cup: It's like a United Cup without points.

In an interview with Tennis Magazine Germany, Alexander Zverev was asked about the current Davis Cup format and was critical.

He says: "As things stand, it's not a Davis Cup, it's an exhibition tournament. I love tennis. I'm a very proud tennis player.

Of course, we all play for money, but money isn't everything. I really love tennis with all my heart.

For me, the Davis Cup is part of tennis history. What's happening now has nothing to do with the history of tennis.

It's like a United Cup without points."
