Alexander Zverev is not in the best of shape.
After a shaky start to the tournament in Shanghai, the German lost in the Round of 16 to a dazzling David Goffin (6-4, 7-5).
Zverev was particularly irritated by his third-round match against Tallon Griekspoor.
Unfairly criticizing the refereeing, the world number 3 even explained that if he hadn't yet won a Grand Slam, it was because of the referees.
He declared: "Why bother playing 89 matches this year... It's not possible, it's not possible.
Every Grand Slam final I lose is because of you, because of your mistakes.
I'm here, I work like an animal, but you make a lot of mistakes.
You decide the matches, you decide the outcome of tournaments every week. Why do I do this? Why am I doing this?
