Zverev withdraws from Gstaad tournament

Alexander Zverev was expected to compete at the ATP 250 in Gstaad, Switzerland, where he was set to be the top seed.

After an early exit in the first round of Wimbledon, he likely aimed to regain confidence on the Swiss clay courts.

However, the German player decided to withdraw this Friday. The tournament's official Instagram account confirmed the news, stating his withdrawal was due to "personal reasons."

Zverev's next tournament will be the Toronto Masters 1000, scheduled for late July.
