Big congrats to Grigor! For me both guys deserved to win, very little separated the two. Very entertaining match, both guys had periods with "galactic" levels, paraphrasing the commentator at tennis tv. It was really impressive by Goffin to recover from 0-40 when he served to stay in the third set at 2-5, Grigor played his maybe best three points of the match there. Viewed over the whole match Goffin's comeback was however logic and it was symptomatic that the match ended the way it did with a volley in the net. Really great match! One reflection about Grigor before I finish for 2017. Did you see his eyes, his position, his attitude today and this tournament? An unbelievable focus and determination. Basically no shattering at all. Those factors that he missed a year/year and a half ago. He is there now, he is finally in the position to compete for the top spots. Big congrats to him for that improvement and growth as a person and tennis player. Looking forward to next year already!! Signing off now, merry Xmas and happy new year tennis lovers!

Good match last evening. Unfortunately we attend to a declining level in this season-end. I hope next year resuming of the better players such as Federer, Djokovic, Nadal, Murray and Wawrinka at their better level or even they level up with Dimitrov and other younger player. I want have fun and see incredible shows. Wish it will happen and already happy new year for everbody.

Look at Grigor's eyes, look at his position, his attitude - he has grown tremendously last year/year and a half. He has grown into a position where he finally can compete for the top spots. Goffin started this match exceptionally well and looked as the likely winner but the tides can turn quickly in tennis! We'll see

Look here peeps you can hate on dimitrov all you want want but bottom line is that even when he was a kid he was a talent player and a good day though their rare for him you'll need to fuse Federer, Murry, djokovich and nadal to pull out the shots he makes.

Yes Goffin did beat both Federer and Nadal, fact. But Nadal was injured so his level was very low and yesterday vs Federer, I have never seen Federer play so badly he beat himself. If Goffin was that good to beat the two best players, would he have lost to Grigor 6-0 6-2?
