Nole is already number one for the 8th time. He broke all records and he doesn't have anything more to break than his own records 😂
He is now playing just for fun. Everything that he achieve is just a bonus. So he can win, he can lose. It doesn't matter to him and to his fans anymore. We just love to watch him play brilliant tennis.
All the new records combined with WTA players etc, are just stupid move by media to try to decrease his achievements. It doesn't matter

If djoko wins 2:1 he would need for rune not to win in 2 sets. However the kicker is that if djoko wins 2:1 sinner is through whatever happens tonight, so may take his foot of the gas. This is why its so important for djoko not to drop a set here, as his future in the tournament would depend on Sinners mood and Runes skills.

Interesting that if djokovic does take 3 sets that sinner could take his foot off the pedal vs rune. Probably send Rune through. Seems likely Sinner would not try super hard to beat Rune if he knows he is already through. Djokovic will be desperate to beat Hurk in 2 today
