Easier to judge azarenkas form however. Has only dropped 6 games in two matches against quality opponents.

Kenin is a tough player and will probably start favourite to win this match but vika has been on a mission and you can tell she is hungry to climb back up the rankings. I think she can do it. Azarenka for the win.? best of luck

Azarenka/zheng were not favoured to beat Konta/siegemind

but got the chocolates in a tight match.

Thats quite interesting sleepypasta that she is favourite ahead if konta and vekic. Vika has started favourite for this match too!!

I think people are noticing her improvement, including the betting agencies.



Will be tough task to win the tournament tho

She has to beat Kenin then probably Andreeschu then either vekic or konta in the final.



I tend to think the winner out of vekic and konta match will slide in as favourite, considering their side if the draw will have an easier semi final match.

@Loris, trust me, I would be personally very hesitant to put her ahead of Konta. It's nice to see the confidence from the bookmakers though. That being said, Vika has a history of comebacks (which have really only ever been derailed by injury, pregnancy, or the dreaded custody battle). When she's actually at her top level, she tends to dominate the pace of play with all but the very top players. I'd say if she beats her next two opponents as easily as the last two, she's going to be a threat again.

@Loris. Thanks for the heads up about doubles too, by the way. I must admit I didn't even know she was playing. Great to see.
