Sharapova deserves nothing. She should have to earn her ranking back and should receive no wildcards. Wildcards are for players coming back from injury or a younger players on the rise. She did her time and should be allowed to play but giving her wildcards is a slap to all the other players who are playing by the rules.

Knock her out Sharapova! Don't let her talk shit!

Kiki would be playing this one like its a Grandslam Final.Thats how badly she would want to win against Maria

So just because it's a business it's ok to "rob" wild cards from other more deserving players just because they're not famous or well known yet?

Well done Kiki

Justice finally served.

Get your Porsche Kiki you have earned it

Yes she served her "reduced" ban but with that also comes earning her way back to playing tournaments WITHOUT any wild cards. That is simply unacceptable and so unfair to all the players who have been waiting forever to earn a chance of getting a wild card. Why can't most people understand that? Tennis is a sport not a business to those who truly love it.

I hope this loss will make Maria humble and learn her lesson now. That's all I want.

Maria has learned her lesson and doesn't need to be humble. Why should she, she's served her time.

It's the other women on tour bitching. When it's obvious quite a few have used performance enhancers

Srok u talk utter crap. She was a cheat and doped her self to win at any cost. She is selfish and dont give a crap about anyone but her self. She deserves to be banned, she's in the same class as Armstrong or sny doper. Wats exciting about a screamer. She didnt have power so she doped. If u support her ur a cheat urself.

Ur a TRUMP SUPPORTER.
Dum to the bone

Take her out Kiki

Sharapova had time to heal her stresed joins, practise and build up with a physio to prevent future stress on shoulder and hip, but that doesn't change that she by her own admission for years took a drug that enhances your cardiovascular system, e.g. gives you more endurance and pumps blood into your tiered muscles faster. So she also had a year to find something else to replace that. Not saying she is the only one who takes something, its the sad reality in sport that most athletes have to dig into the meds box to be competitive these days - as the continued reveals in all sports show. Doesn't stop me from enjoying high level sport but makes me sad.

Maria Needs some of that good stuff, bring back the Meledonium.. or whatever..
4
corinapaine
@stormchaser99, haha...I was just thinking that. I read that Meldonium really gives the extra edge and stamina due to increased circulation in the body...Sharapova looks a little worn out in this third set...☺

Maria's gonna need way more ass kissing now because that was a long fall off her high horse. Surely she'll have many volunteers. ;)

Hard luck Maria, I hope the powers in charge @ WTA give you a wild card to the French Open.

zprime128
Tennis is a business. If the wta wants to attract fans they have to issue wild card to fan favorite. It's just a fact of life. Money will always win out. Maria is sure to be in French
